Do most of you run 7.4V packs in series? Or is there any benefit to double up to 14.8V packs in parallel?
I don't boat as much as other toys. In fact just run at meets down in crosby with some great guys.
Currently run a set of Turnigy 7.4v lipo packs. But I want something better as these tend to die sooner than later.
To keep the boat light I would assume most run two 7.4V packs at 5000mah. Running the boat constantly with 10,000mah with 14.8v parallel setup seems a bit overkill. In racing aspect, never would get close to 10k mah battery runs.
With no intentions to mod the boat and use it as it is, I can't decide if I should go with hyperion 45c packs or spend a bit more and get some thunder power 65c packs.
Now higher the number the better of course. But in a stock AQ MC, is 65c really needed?
