    Adding expanding foam inside hull??

Hi guys i have a Motley Crew that i have only ran twice, its in mint condition still, i have a T180 and a 3674 1900kv feigao 9xl copy in it and it runs pretty quick, I have a 4074 leo 2000kv in the mail and i expect it to run mid 50s on 5s. I have seen a few posts about adding expanding foam in the front of the hull?? Can someone please enlighten me on the type of product i should be using to do this as to not bulge the hull? Also i would really prefer to just drill a hole or 2 inside that way i could use a rubber plug to cover it rather than glassing and painting. any suggestions/recomendations?

a product i could pick up at home depot would be ideal as we have one nearby.

    Thanks

Is there a Industrial Plastics there? They would carry the two-part closed cell foam.I have noticed some sray cans with blue foam on the job sites lately. They should be closed cell and probably available at Home Depot or a construction supplier.

Apparently the Great Stuff is open cell and will absorb moisture. So yes closed cell is what to ask for.I've been kicking the idea around myself for my boats.

          Here is the good stuff.

Wholesale/retail sales of composite and fiberglass materials, including epoxy, adhesives, carbon fibers, urethane foam, urethane casting rubbers

Make sure you get the 2 pound foam the 4 lb will make your boat too heavy.

I have used great stuff for window/door jams - just add it a bit at a time.

The problem with great stuff foam is that it's an open cell foam and will absorb water over time. The 2 part foam is closed cell and is impervious to water.
