motley crew batteries??

ive got a few lipos in my box of goodies but have a TON of 5000mah NIMH batteries to give me longer time on the lake can these NIMH be used in the motley crew boat?

i know to switch my miss geico i use a programming card on the esc

do i need this on the crew?
