Thanks Chief for the post....being able to see the inside of the Lucas Oil Cat and reading the comments answered some of my questions!

I guess this answers my question:

It's my understanding that the Lucas Oil hull is based on the Motley crew boat except the hull has additional fiberglass added to the bottom for more stiffness and the motor mount structure is thicker.

the motor mount works but could be better still has some flex!

Yes Ray...from what I'm hearing and from GrimRacer too....the hull and motor mount are improved too but could be more from what I'm hearing!

Steven told me a day or two ago he's gonna modify the MC section to allow both for comments and Q & A from boaters etc BUT.............!
