    Twin mono

Hello, how would this work? Want to stagger props to get closer together and be able to use bigger props picture just for attention as I have no idea on prop size, thanks

I can't provide actual hydrodynamic evidence, but that setup will likely be a disaster. The prop thrust cones will overlap, one sending disturbed water into the other, affecting efficiency of both. Why do you need to increase prop diameter? Is increasing pitch alone with a traditional twin spacing not an option? What's the application?

I'm setting up a 58" fountain mono. 2 TP 5670 990 kv motors on 8s. Not sure of the correct props but figured I needed to get struts as close to center as possible

Not sure what it's called in small boat application but you'd have really poor efficiency, we call it flushing on the big stuff I work (3x 6.2m prop blades on the stern) it's all about the water flow and where it's going.
this was my twin 67" mono.

Gene, if you use the drives to steer on a pendulum you will have much more success. My Lazer 40 has it done. There should be good products available though in that hull size

Looks nice, do you use some kind of universal joint on the flex shafts? Don't see how that works

Gene, those are custom drives and no universals. It is just an open setup. But there are drives with ball sockets and could work very well. Warren in Germany makes them MBP I believe is the name. It is a bit more of an innovative route to go.
