What prop to start with on 55 scarab??

New to the rc boating side. Was a offroad dirt guy for years tell body went to hell. So got into boats. Have a 55 inch vee .boat weighs in at 19 lbs. Motor is a spektrum firma 1350 kv brushless marine motor. The esc is a spektrum firma smart 160 amp brushless marine esc. Batterys are spektrum 5000 mah 100c 4s smart g2 and running 2 batterys for 8s. Question is what prop do I start with. Thanks

Hi, Your setup including motor and Esc might be the limiting factor for such a heavy boat, but you can start with a 50mm prop and look at temps. You can try 6cells with a 55 mm prop, and be in the low 40”mph
Do you know what the biggest problem with the world is?
That the Smartest people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence.::tt2

you are setup all wrong. ditch that motor asap. Get a rocket RC 5692 - 730kv run 2614.

I run a 60" Bonzi Epic V-bottom with a TP5680 650kV motor. I run it in 2 configurations. On 5S 16,000mAh with a Prather 275 prop it runs low 30's, perfect for the rough water I built it for with plenty of run time. On 8S 10,000mAh it runs low 50's on an Octura X470.
