Drive Dog

I have and old converted gas to elec Aquacat Segad. 1/4" Flex shaft down to 3/16" at Prop. Cannot find a 3/16" drive dog that has an outside dia of 12mm which is same as prop. The question is it necessary for the Dog to be same outside dia as prop?

maybe octura sell them, i have them 10mm dia bigger dia is a problem(maybe Steven can find them)

No, not really, although I do prefer to use tapered dogs with my 3/16" props.
