    We need some more info.

What does he want from the boat, SAWs type runs for a few seconds, ovals for a few laps, or ovals for several minutes?

That size sounds like an outrunner and sometimes they use the can size, sometimes stator size, and sometimes a mixture of both. How big is the motor or what does it weigh?

What ESC is he using? Is it water cooled?

How big is the boat, and what does it weigh RTR?

yes its an outrunner, 22mm diameter 12mm length. 65grams. 60 amp non water cooled esc. the boat is 17 inches long. ill have to ask about weight. he really just wants to do some laps at the pond by his house.

Those must be the stator sizes not the case size at that weight.

Prop size depends on how many laps he wants to run he should get about 4-5 mins on an 1.4 30mm prop, and it could likely take a 1.4 35mm prop for 6 laps.

Gratz to him, that is a nice light build for the size.

I'd like to see any pictures he has of the build/boat.

I havent had a chance to run mine. the 105 deg temps kinda killed the pond i built it to run on and the town park pond is so full of stuff its not worth it. ill try to get some vide of the runs soon
