Steve Resser use to run one as well. (at one race in MI. he had two 1/2" wrenches taped to the deck)

            Terry, it's a Hydro&Marine drifter-S from Germany.

It's to little to heat race with, I think, And I don't want another boat to race with anyway. I bought it just to do time trials with.

I knew what it was. Dennis had a couple of these for trials. One held the P offshore record for a bit. I thought this might be one of them. These never turned worth a damn but going straight they were solid. There used to be a 36" version you might be interested in too.

                NOPE not at all.

The ONLY reason I have a blasted cat in the first place is to try to get the limited cat record. I like monos!

Brian had the NAMBA LSO record in 2005 at 33.25mph. My original Pachmeyer-built DrifterS bested that in 2006 with a scorching 34.10mph.

                    Jay launching it :

In 2007 Jim (Jevmax) added some mph with the winged version of the hull

Don's boat (that he got from me that I got from Mike)is the one that now holds NAMBA P-Ltd Cat record - Twice the mph from 2006

I used to own one of Paul P.'s Drifter S. It was yellow and had Mountain Dew decal scheme and I sold that long time ago with octura inline strutter.

Is it the same boat making these rounds?
