    New guy needs help

I now know now I have the wrong motor for my boat 7.5 lb, hydro, have a 3660/2726 KV, 3s parallel, is there any prop I could run with out a new motor? and more $$$, for new motor, I do not care how fast I go. I put on a new water cooling jacket on motor, as wires burned a little with a 42X55 prop. motor and ESC still working. Thank You

If wire are burning with a 4255 you may need a smaller prop too reduce amps even more. And too small of a prop may not be good as it may not plane.

If they was a gear box available that would help.

So this the challenge with a high kV motor.

        I would try a 40/1.4 or 38/1.4

To be honest I don't think you will have a decent performing boat with that 3660 2726kv motor.

          A bigger motor with a lower kV would be ideal. Like a 1300 to 1400kv 4082 or 4092. On 6s turning a prop between 45 and 47mm.
