    Prop suggestion Cheetah 4S ovals

I would like advice on ABC props for a said Cheetah.

3 blades?? I've seen Ray Presnell run a ABC 3 blade on a boat but, few people talk about them, just 2 blade props.

    1521 1.5D and REvo packs.

    Thank you.

Ray, I wonder if one of the 15* rake 3’s would cut it. The 10* old standard ABC props have a lot of lift would likely put the nose into the water. The 17* have the opposite effect but the 15* are not as bad in my experience so far.
Seems to me Tony liked a 50mm prop for a single Cheetah.

      1521 1.5Y is only 1050 KV, a little low for 4S on a CAT????

          That's better - 1860Kv on 4S

I have a few 450/3 cut down to 48mm, detounged, backcut, and a bit of tip cup. you can try.
or a ABC 1915 -17 degree rack 2 blade prop.

Ray, a little late (just bumped into this thread) - If you keep the hull loose/nicely aired out you can run just about any prop - the 1521 1.5D is like a diesel bulldozer motor - mucho grunt. I replaced mine with a somewhat comparable TP Power 4060 (2040KV - sorta close) and have run 450/3 Oct's and for 2-Lap record runs or just for going to "11" the 452/2 without breaking a sweat. I'd give Larry's cut down 450/3's a shot - sounds like a great choice.Keep it loose (no plowing)

Here's the 2040KV TP Power with a fairly stock 447/3:

              2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap
              2009/2010 NAMBA P-Sport Hydro Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder, '13 SCSTA P-Ltd Cat High Points
              '11 NAMBA [P-Ltd] : Mono, Offshore, OPC, Sport Hydro; '06 LSO, '12,'13,'14 P Ltd Cat /Mono

I am fairly used to those props but thank you for chiming in. I was curious about ABC props specifically.

Just trying to see what I can play with in ABC.

Major brain fart. Big edit, lol...

I use a neu 1521 1860kv with a castle 240 hydra ice along with a x452/3 detongue, lil rake and round ears. Works good on cats with that cut minus the rake on some hulls. The strut height ajustment is the single most important thing.
