TFL Smash Shark and patron saint 2 p1 drive prop

Smash shark leopard 4074 2200 4s stock prop 38x 1.4 got an Octura x445 esc seaking 180 15 deg timing ? Am I at top of props or can it take more not racing but looking for a little more speed. 2nd is my buddy’s patron saint p1 drive sss 2960 2200 3/4 s 5000. Seaking 180 esc stock prop 36x1.9 his has a hard time keeping up speed and getting on plane. We have adjusted stinger up and down it’s slightly better but still no go. Also spins out if cornering to hard. I think it needs bigger prop? What y’all 🤔???

Smash Shark, timing 0-5*, try a x442 first, detongued is also better same for x445.
Patron saint, turn down the steering rate. Drive should have a little 1-2* positive angle. If it still spins out try some turn fins. Try adjusting the CG by moving the batteries, start at 30%.

Thanks for the info so for the smash shark timing down to 0-5? I’ve read most y motors are good with 15? I’ll try it though

For my Smash Shark it was suggested that I go for a 440/3 prop and performance improved dramatically over stock with same motor specs and ESC. I did reinforce the hull interior. "D" motors I stick to 0 degrees and star "Y" windings I prefer 11 degrees. The Seaking is factory default 15 degrees from memory.
