    Very poor quality eBay prop

    Hope the pic loads up.

This prop sells for about $10 on fleabay.

Looks neat until you try to S&B it.

Looks to be some??? Metal base with a copper plating, then on top of that a chrome finish.

Hard, soft, hard. I'll do my best to do this prop for a buddy but it's brutal!!!

    The listing says Material: Metal

OK so what were you expecting for $10 ???? The copper is part of the chrome plating process

No, that's the 3 layers that appear as you remove material.

I was just posting to warn people of poor quality stuff out there.

I've bought some excellent quality SS props for 10-$15 on eBay many times. As long as it's a good seller and the material is specified it's all good.

Unfortunetely there's tons of junk in those sites......and yes for $10 you wouldn't get an ABC or OCTURA prop!

I know what I'm buying when i buy it. I've never been burned.

The person that gave me the prop is not so well versed in what is good or bad for whatever price.

When HOR Racing came out with new products, they were always dirt cheap about 5 years ago.

I bought several 3 blade stainless steel props from 52mm to 57mm for $10 a piece. Later untilmthey sold out, they went up to $15.

There are bargains out there is all I'm saying.

If he would have asked me I would have told him not to buy this.

My whole point of posting this was to warn people of some of the bad buys out there more than to toot my horn about cheap props.
