With good solder joints, you should be able to use that motor with a 447 or 450 on 4s.

    I saw a thread where the leopard 4092 1730kv was turning the octura x460 on 6s. So I don't see why a x447 or x450 can't work on 4s.

      thanks,

      10 SEC max run time.
If you want to run 15 to 20 sec. you will need a small prop. And probably still get a lot of heat.

Allow me to sum it up for you:

the kv of that motor is too high to be making laps in 6s. Period. It's made for a speed run up the lake and maybe one back down the lake. Let cool off.

you say the boat flies. How fast is it? Do you have a way of checking speed? Without kni omg how fast your going, how will you know if your making improvements with your changes?

Is the hull running wet? Is the prop too deep in the water? How long are your wires? (Battery, esc, motor etc). The dhortervthe better. Less wire means less resistance and less heat.

If it's a d wind motor, you need 0 degrees timing. Maybe 2. Zero I'd run to be safe. If it's a swordfish esc, no matter what timing I've run, it causes the motor to run hot, when it's set to auto the temps dropped. Not sure why. I always run auto.

You seem like your trying to run before you walk in my opinion. Slow down and learn some things and move up from there. 6s on 2200kv is a receipe for a disaster if your inexperienced. That's 48k or more rpm which if setup right could go into the triple digits.
