Finishing my first hydro...24" df vortex, t-180, 3674 1800kv planning on running 4s not sure what size prop I should be around? I have 3 cnc props from the ose store, 40mm 2 blade, 43mm 2 blade, 40mm 3 blade, and an m445. Need to get a couple things from the store so figured I'd get a couple props if anyone has suggestions thanks
Vortex 24" hydro prop?

1800kv is a bit low for a 4S bearing in mind the size and weight of the vortex. I think I would start out at the 43 2 blade.
As a counterpoint I run a Vortex 24 on a 2S (N) setup with a TP 2940 5500KV which will turn most props between 32-35 with the exception of an Octura 35 3 blade. The danger you have as I see it is having too much torque reaction from a big relatively slow moving prop. -

Thanks for the info. I got it running and it runs great, very cool temps running a cnc 442 and a m445. I love this boat it handles awesome. I want to get a different motor though any suggestions? Here is a video

Try a Leopard 3674/2200 Kv motor, it's higher Kv will boost rpm. You may want to go down in prop diameter with this motor at first until you are comfortable with the amp draw but the T180 should handle it fine.

My Vac-U-Pickle is running a 3665 2200kv on 4s. It's a little bigger, but I run a 42mm on that. Going bigger only creates torque issues. Since you have a low kv, you can maybe look at higher pitched props.Comment
