    Standard cup from X445

Hello guys, I am looking for the normal or standard cup from a X445. Believe this is smaller then 3,2 inch?
. Is there a table for other props too , or perhaps a formula?
    Thanks for any clarification.

    Regards.
    Jef from Belgium.

Seems that I am the only one that don't know the difference between the the standard Octura props and the cupped versions.
It should be very nice to know the standard cup of a normal /original X445 prop.
What does the cup 3,2 inch mean??
Should be great to receive your comments.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
    Jef.

sounds like you have a custom prop there ,,,Octura does not come from the factory in a cupped & non cup version,,Not being a wise guy, if you are so concerned buy a pitch gauge and check yourself besides that,,, where is the cup that you mention, on the tip, on the leading edge, or on the following edg,e impossible question to answer that is why you have not gotten any responses ,just saying ???

        Chris, thanks for your reply.
Indeed, the Octura props are from CMDI and modified . I can not say where the mentioned cup is measured. These cup indications (3,2 and 3,4 inch) were mentioned on the plastic bags. But what is the difference with a standard non cup Octura prop.
Has each prop goeroe in the USA his own measuring system or is there a common standard practice method ??
        Thanks and regards.
        Jef.

Here's the chart for Octura props http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/dow...tura/Props.pdf
A x445 has a standard pitch of 2.478" your prop pitch has been modified to 3.2"

                Thanks for reply.
It seems however that only the trailing edge is cupped and the leading edge is spooned a little bit.
                Standard X445 is used on a cat . Speed is 85 km/h. With X445 cupped 3,2 - speed is 92 km/h.
                3,2inch= 81,3mm. So pitch/diameter = 81,3/45=1,8. It must be look then like a riggerprop (V942).. Also speed should be theoretical a factor 1,28 higher (81,3/ (45x1,4).
Could you agree with this point of view?
Perhaps we should ask it on Andy Brown. However, are not sure that he is reading on this forum after a long day of hard working.

                Thanks guys.
                Jef.
