I had a solid brass bullet prop nut on my Lucas Oil Cat. The stock Aquacraft ESC seemed to start suddenly at about 1/4 throttle no matter what I did. I just replace it with a HW/Turnigy 120A ESC. When running it slow to check direction I notice bad run out with the prop nut. The point of the bullet nut was going in a circle about 1/8" in diameter. Looks like the hole/threads are at an angle. Replaced it and the buzzing sound vibration was gone. I had put it on when I got the boat so thought the vibration was "normal". Check your prop nuts.
