Mean machine

I have a aero marine mean machine 2 with a 1515 2200 kv castle 240amp sf esc running in 4s2p. My temps are warm to the touch but not hot.

Another idea was to go 5s2p but was advised that the motor may not last long

I curently run a m445 from dasbota. The boat runs right above 50mph

I was told to try a x645 or m545. Does anyone have experenace with this hill?

What prop are you running? As I said before I'm getting 8 mins of run time with little heat.

The boat currently runs 50 mph give or take, my gps is 1/2 a pound. The boat handles a lot better without it inside.
Could you please post a picture of your strut height and pads

F1 Rogers, What prop and batteries are you running? I am currently running 64mph with Neu 1515 1Y 2200, 5S2P 4500mah, Octura 642 detounged. The prop slips a lot on the bottom end, but top end is good. The motor stays super cool 100 deg, ESC caps 135, but motor to ESC wires get pretty hot (150) after I pull the hatch off. I think they are hotter than this while running as they cool off quickly. The heat shrink has stuck together when the wires were touching. I shortened the wires as much as possible and run 6.5mm bullets. Running a V2 seaking 180. My run time is pretty long about 5 minutes on a small oval course.

I am scared to go with a larger prop to get me 70 mph as I am worried about the motor wires. Any suggestions to get around this?

I ran the boat yesterday, my temps are from 70-85 degrees and that was after several nonstop full speed straight always. Are we thinking x646?
