    Aquacraft UL-1 Superior stock prop

    Hi everyone just bought my first RC Boat and was wondering if theres suppose to be a gap between the prop shaft and flex cable.100_1668.jpg

    Yes, the gap should be the same length as the diameter of your cable. Under power the flex cable "shrinks" as it tightensup, and the gap is there to prevent rubbing and avoid damage.

        Looks OK, it's a bit hard to tell but what I said is the general guideline concerning the gap. It is not an exact science, if you are off by a hair it won't matter.
        What matters is that you should get an up graded cable. Stock Aqua Craft cable is not the strong link in this set up.
