I've run carbon, plastic, stainless, copper be, and cnc. I've had poor results with cnc and I've had good results with them. They are better than a plastic or carbon prop, but not as good as a cooper be or stainless prop that's correctly done. I've been running some cnc props on my play boats and I've had good results. Definitely worth a shot just to try and find what your boat likes....then when you do, get the same thing in stainless or copper done by a pro, you'll pick up a couple more mph.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I was mainly testing turn fins but as you can see the props worked great! This one was a 5514. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGOX...ature=youtu.beComment

Much like most props I have found them hit and miss. I have 443's, 445, 645, 648 and 5018/3's. The 648's and the 5018/3's were good results while the 45mm ones were lacklustre compared to say Octura's of same size/pitch. And as of note, I finally blew the tip off one of the 648's at 40K+ rpm.Comment

I had really good results with the CNC M642, yes, it is de-tongued and really scoots on my TFL Libero Hydro clone ( not a factory RTR) , however, this particular one is not sold here at OSE. Found that at Kintec. I am aware the OP asked OSE CNC, but I thought this M-series CNC is worth a look .
Here is how it looks like :DSCN1633.jpgLast edited by tlandauer; 12-29-2014, 02:31 AM.Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

Hey Tim, It's running ok but it still needs to go through the turns better, No I'm making a smaller copy of the Virgina Craftsman. this weekend I was testing with some different shape fin that I had and there was one in particular that seemed to work great but I think it just needs to be a little larger. So I'm gonna make a bigger version of it too and see how it works, I'll post pics with the results in a different thread.Last edited by flraptor07; 12-29-2014, 06:48 PM.Comment
