Can I prop with my currant set up for more speed?

I am running a 38" H&M intruder with a tp 4060 4y 1440kv 300 FDM ESC with a x448 sharpened and balanced on 8s. How much can I prop up to with this set up and not get in to trouble for some more speed

No one can answer that with certainty. So much depends on your wiring, pack quality, drive setup, how you run, etc. The only way to know is to test with progressively higher pitch props, checking temps after a minute or two. The next step up is an x648.
