To make it like a m series, you need to de-tounge it. In other words cut back the rounded part closer to the center.

I'm always a little timid at how much I remove because I keep forgetting if i mess it up, it's only a $13 prop hahaha!

                      No.
I would back cut it about 3/32" at the hub from zero at the tips.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

i usually square off the trailing edge and leave it straight. thats the edge you're speaking of yes?

So with a rough half round file I went at the convex side of the blade thinning it out over the entire blade.
Then on to a finer file to smooth out .
Finally, for now I square off the trailing edge.

Now onto the balancer. Not bad for wingin it

So now it's going to get 400 on both sides, then 600 then 800 only on the convex side. Then back to the balancer.

So I ended up going with 320 on both sides the 600-800-1200 on the convex side. Then I use a fine file and file into the edge I want sharp. I back onto balancer, and back and forth till it's balanced and razor sharp. hard to tell from the pics but it's ridiculous sharp.

Then to keep this one, unlike the first one I'll use a good nut and locktite
