Prop recommendation for a 30" tunnel....

Hey, I'm looking for a prop for a 30" tunnel hull. It's running a leopard 4082 1600 on an o.s. Leg on 6s. My goal is approx 60mph, any suggestions would be great, thanks.

If they fit under the cavitation plate try a Prather P-230 or Octura x648.

Ok thanks, if they don't fit, would you ever consider running without the cav plate?

Not sure what tunnel you have but a 4082 might be a little more power than you need. It will work but you'll be upside down more than you want. As for props I run an m445 or m545 on our Q tunnels with a 1600 1521 Castle. These are 32-36 inch hull that run in the 55-65mph range. A smaller hull may only be faster to the scene of the crash.

That may very well be the case. The hull is about ten years old or so. I used to run a graupner brushed outboard on 20 cells Nimh and it did about 40, so I'm hoping I don't ruin the boat with this motor.

Btw- it's made by a company called maus motorsports, has anyone ever heard of it?? I've never seen another and am curious if the company still exists.
