I use a Tenshock balancer from MinicatracingUSA, http://www.minicatracingusa.com/imag...cs/propbal.jpg I think it is similar to the OSE one. I "balanced" my first prop yesterday. A 27mm small prop for the Mini ECO . I was surprised to find how sensitive the balancer was, in fact I hoped it would be less so as I was quite exasperated with the process, lol...Too many boats, not enough time... -

I've got a topflite balancer, works good. The OSE one would be a good choice though, you can even get them in NZ!NZMPBA 2013, 2016 Open Electric Champion. NZMPBA 2016 P Offshore Champion.
2016 SUHA Q Sport Hydro Hi Points Champion.
BOPMPBC Open Mono, Open Electric Champion.Comment

I Use a topflite for boat and plane props, have a 3/16 mandrel for boat props. Don't really think it makes much difference which you choose with the magnetic balancers, all work the same. I have only tried the one, had it for quite a while. If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?Comment

I'm a newby but I got this one.20130817_233732.jpg
I'm not an expert by any means but it seams to work pretty good. I've noticed that heavy spinnng is not going to give an accurate reading. I tend to just tap the outer blade lightly to see how much the prop moves and it's much more accurate then just spinning the hell out of it.
Just my experiance.Comment
