Ok I have gotten back into the boat scene and need some help. I picked up a wildcat ep , just a good simple brushless boat . I need to know what a good metal prop would be for it.

i have looked myself as i too started with a wildcat... the ID of the prop itself is smaller than most prop flex cables. I too want help!! -

That is the dia. 42mm, isn't it? So any 1.4 pitch metal prop that is 42mm will do, I would be cautious since the metal prop is heavier and check your temp. if I were you I would get a x440 first, then increase to 42mm like x442, but that is a very expensive way to up grade. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=octsb-x440, http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=octsb-x442

The other thing ---as you may know already, the stock shaft is not 3/16" as with most metal props , what is the size? if it is 1/8'', then you need to use this:http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...?prod=ose-1035, since most prop use 3/16" shafts.
In my opinion, since the boat is light, the stock prop will not flex that much under power, the improvement you expect from a metal prop may not be that evident.
