    Need help reducing lift please

    I am running counter rotating x447's and want to reduce lift, do i simply detongue? Thanks!

            I don't do them but when having them done requesting low lift will result in rounded tips.

            Star or pointed tips have higher lift.

                If you cup the prop it push and get less lift.
                twissted from speed. Lead, fallow or get out of the way. Copy cats in back of the buss!!!

                    Detounge won't do much for lift. Backcutting is more for lift removal, cupping and rounding tips should help.

                        Sounds like we're on the right track here...............can I also detoungue some..........will that have any effect?

                          Detounging frees up the prop for RPM. Lift is caused by the tunnel or cone of the prop wash. narrow the tunnel or cone and the prop will have less lift. there is three ways to do this: (Or two cuts I like and one bending edges or cupping)
                          You can cut the 1/2 moon out using different sizes to control lift depending on how big. Some props do not have the strengths to be cut this way and will cause the blade to break a H-10 is one of them.

                            I use a dremel for the cuts and have made a lot of pliers but these are my favorites
