I do not think the ESC is progammable. Once the boat is up on plane it's fast and handles very well. Takes a few seconds for that though.
Try some 35 or 40C batts to bring the temps down on batts, maybe 4500's to 5800's also...

If anyone else has noticed, if you buy Zippy/Turnigy Lipos at Hobby King for Sport running, the 40c batts are often less than the 30-35c possibly due to folks not really looking at the 40c's thinking they are more $$. There are cases where the 40c's are literally cheaper than the 35c's.

The "X" props have more low speed grip, for fast take off with slightly less top speed.

The "Y" props have 10% more pitch than "X" props, but are otherwise similar to "X" props.

The "M" props have less low speed grip, slower take off but more top speed.

The "V" props slip like crazy during take off, but yield maximum top speed. (most boaters stay away from this series)

The 2 blade props slip more on take off, then have higher top speeds. (in general)

The 3 blade props slip less on take off, then have slightly less top speeds. (in general)

I will mention certian setups will act differently.( so testing on your boat is required)

In my experience with my df26, the x440/3 has more top speed than the x440/2. ALOT of people on here say two blades are faster than 3 but I have always found the opposite. I suppose it depends on the boat tho....

A set of 5000mah 40c's would give you 200 constant amp output as opposed to the 100a constant you have now.

You may also consider detongueing an x442 to make an m442 out of it..............

I wish octura made a wider range of props. For example, a x640/3

Make your own. I did it, I have a gig that I take two props, cut and silversolder to make a three blade out of. I did it with the OM21 back in the day when it was the big winner in N2.

Also a three blade prop on a Mono will always ride smoother.
