    Starting prop for Persuit?

    Hi!
Put a Persuit together with a Neu 1527.5Y on 2p5s 45C 10000mah and a FC 300A/6s, for SAW runs. What prop would be good to start with?
    Thinking maybe a Prather 215?
    Thanks, Lasse

I don't run saw but do race and my pursuit likes the GR 42-55 handles race water well and turns on the buoys . You might want to try a m445 or m545 the m series seem to have a little more speed in the straights .

Ran the boat yesterday, went good but a little wet. Maybe a bit heavy with batteries. To much waves from big boats to run on full speed for long. Nothing warm to the touch. Guess is speed to be in the low 50`s. Have a M645 from Hazygry i want to try! Any suggestions?

So, 50's means you're halfway there Since you have a 300A esc I'm thinking you could atleast make it sweat a little. M645 is a pretty big leap from a P215 but I don't think your setup will have a problem with it. Theoretically speaking your setup right now, with a Prather 215, should be in the 60's by some margin.

I have an OSE balanced & sharpened SS Prather 225 (46,7 mm & ~1,52 pitch) you can try out, if you want? Might be better with some bigger blades and lesser pitch to get that heavy beast going? Just ordered an M447 from OSE that should be arriving this week.....and let's see. I also have some PropShop's that might be interesting. 4217/3 and 4518/3. They are cleaver type and probably wont do much good in a heavy v-hull but you're welcome to try them out.
