Newbie advice please..

Hi, I have converted a nitro 31" dolfin to electric. Current setup is running a Leopard 4074 2150kv motor with 6s through a turnigy 180 marine esc. Current prop is M438 /3

I suspect I have power to burn. What prop do you recommend?

well is the motor cool to the touch when you bring it in and how is the ESC and Batt packs with regard to temp? 438 sees small to me but I cant remember what was in my mono I had with the same set up. Run it again and see where your temps are if its cool to the touch you can prop up a bit.

I went back and looked up my old thread I was running a 642 in mine so you could start there and adjust as you need my mono was larger than yours as well by the looks of the video

Thanks Hazegry, I appreciate your advice. I have been surprised how cool everything is. Motor and ESC. I have this stinger and prop on its way http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=15107 . The prop is 47mm. I'll test it and let you know.

I will also look for a 642 to test..
