I have a df33 with a lep. 4082 1600kv and 6s 1p 5000 mah . I have a 447/3 coming for it but was wondering what other props to get I don't want to over prop it . I like to run my heat races a bit on the conservitve side [you can't win if you can't finish]

Wondering if a x447/3 might be to much prop for a 1p setup... maybe a detounged 447 2blade as an option... i
I've been wanting to try a 545 for a while. The m645 is a wicked prop. Its just pushing my poor little leo 4074 2200kv to the max. That's in a Pursuit 32. Hull likes the prop though!

Bill, I ran a 450/3 cut down to 47mm with the tips slightly cupped. It was a fast prop and running 6s1p handled it fine. Since you want to heat race with it, I would cut your prop down to 45mm and thats it. The boat never like 2 blade props. When I was just sport running it, a 3 blade held traction much better than a 2. I think cutting your 447/3 down to 45mm will be exactly what your after.
You can also run 6s2p using two 5000mah packs in series and two 2650mah in series, then parallel them. Just keep the C rating the same. Ive done it countless times and it hurts absolutely nothing. Some people would say not to mix mah, but they probably never tried it.....Comment

Thanks Larry . I was going to Email you but posted instead . I'm going to send the prop out to be cut to 45mm I have no problem bsp a prop . But cutting one down and doing it right is beyond what I'm capable of .Comment
