    Amp load on opc tunnel

I'm running a woodstuff 29" OPC tunnel with a ul1 2050kv motor. Using a seaking 120a esc and an x442 prop. The caps on the esc are getting too hot.

Do you think an m445 might possibly pull less amps than an x442 (stock tongue)?

I think it will run a little hotter as you are adding more pitch. I have run the UL1 2030 kv motor with a Turnigy 180 esc (looks the same as the Sea King) in the UL1, BlackJack 26 and a Mean Machine cat. without excessive heat problems with an x442 on 4s. You can also run an additional cooling block and strap it on the caps. This will help lower the cap temp. I use 2 water pick ups, 1 for motor and 1 for esc. Hope I've been of some help, Rokcney.

Nope not a wash the bigger diameter will more than offset the m442. I don't run tunnels, but the racers here are running ABC or Grim 42x55's.
