    What Prop Single EKOS

Hi, I bought an EKOS hull from Ebay and have it set up as a single
UL-1 Motor and ESC 2030 KV
    2 x 2S1P 5000, MAH 40C lipos in series
Want to use an Octura X640 but think I should start with an X440.
Any advice on right prop choice. Thanks for any help. I use to run
this 640 prop with an Ammo 2300 motor and everything was OK. Feel
that with less KV 640 may be too much.

I don't know if this will help as I have the same hull but twin 3400kv mtrs.

I'm running 2-3s paralleled 45/90c and a oct x442's and get 59.2 mph with slight wind and chop.

I have a spare hull and was thinking of converting it to a single. do you have any pic's of the conversion?

    Thanks

    Chris

Thank you. How does it handle with the single?
Do you have thread that shows the conversion?

How did you seal up the old stinger holes?

Chris, I did not create a thread for the conversion because it was pretty simple. Just transferred all the hardware from my 35" scratch built
cat "Shake N' Bake" which was very successful in LSO but was showing a lot of cracks I couldn't repair. Hull was totally bare of any rails
etc. Filled the holes from the inside with fiberglass and refinished from the outside with bondo and repainted transom area. I have not tried
the boat out yet until the weather up in the mountains where I live improves. (windy). I will et you know the results when I do. Regards
          Norman
PS. attached photo of my Scratch built 35" cat which is now a shelf queen after 13 wins in two seasons in LSO
