Twin Apparition -props spinning inwards or outwards??

What's people views on this! I've done a few searching and people seem to say stick to inwards but others say outwards gives better handling??

I'd really appreciate some advice on this

    Thanks

which way do they spin now? can't you just switch the RH prop to other side, reverse motors and try it both ways and see?..... just a newbie with more free time than knowledge. interesting question.
I look forward to seeing what people far smarter than me, say about this. ( but mostly glad I didn't go twin for 1st boat) 1 motor is too much for me to figure out still, maybe I should have started with a FE sailboat!

Some say and I tend to agree that inward keeps stern in water and outward lifts stern up, weather that info helps or not it's now yours:) I can ask my good friend who owns and operates a 40' motion cat and throttles for WHM super cat to see what he says but I'm not sure if that info relates to the rc world of such small sizes. I would think it should..

Ask him which way he spins on that Motion, and how much power it runs. I think only 3 of them 40 Motions were built, I have one here in Lake Charles LA w twin 1400 motors.
Currently spinning mine out on the Motion and also the 50" thundercat, going to try in also though.
Spinning in on some big boats causes porposing and other ill effects

Port prop: counter rotate (left hand). Starboard prop: clockwise (right hand). JIM

I've always spun inward and have had no issues.

Just curious-- where do you get "reverse wound" flexshafts? If you use a standard flexshaft, doesn't it try to expand in the stuffing tube and sieze up when you run it the other direction?

I am spinning mine outwards right now with the FC Shocker. It did help it spinning out from inward rotation, but I have changed a few other things as well so may switch back to see.

When I had my twin HOTR hull, same as App hull, I tried it both ways while racing at our club and didnt see much if any difference either way. My HPR likes outward. When I ran them inward, which seems to be the norm, it was very squirrly and spun out a lot. My Geico that I twinned likes inward. I have read that inward is usually more stable, but my findings using several different hulls, there is no "correct" way, its whatever the hull likes.

I ran my twin app inward also and worked very well for me. I do agree with Tiq though as it varies from hull to hull. If I'm not mistaken the DF Explorer cat also likes outward.
