    hydro talk

tried looking in to the search section but did not find much

    - how do i know which props are lifting type and when to use them

    - i have seen photos of hydros with a negative angle on the strut is this to pick up the rear of the boat- why not use a lifting prop

    - if you had a long strut on the boat would you not need a lifting prop or any angle because it would be easier to lift up because of leverage and less likely to blow over by making the boat feel longer

I don't know the strut angle vs lifting prop, but a lifting prop is less efficient then a normal prop so minimal angle with less effect than a lifting prop would be more efficient.
