Just finished my first build a delta force explorer cat. It has twin tacon's 4074 2200kv ruining on 4s soon to be 5s x442 props. What would be a good step up for my props?

The pitch brings you more speed but also pulls more amps. That is why to go a little smaller diameter. It is a trade off, this is where experimentation and/or advise comes in.
We are limited with the counter rotating props.I am having this problem too.Fightercat has a good selection.Comment

Are you looking for props to run on 4s or 5s? If you step up to 5s you won't want more than the x442s. You will be maxing that ESC out (~180A each) with that setup. Expect to run somewhere in the 70-75mph range once you get it dialed in with the x442s on 5s if they are balanced and sharpened well (providing your batteries are up to the task).Comment

I ran that exact setup and datalogged it. It pulled 170-180A+ constant under full throttle. It's good to know things have changed since then though, thanks for the update.Comment
