some people have the props spinning inward (towards each other) and other have them spin outward. I have never done it so I don't know the adv. of either.

Most common is for the props to spin inward. Meaning (looking at the transom) the left spins clockwise, right spins counter-clockwise

          hi

does anyone have ever tried the props spin outward(opposite each other)?I heard someone says it turn better than when the props rotate inward. I haven't tried it yet, only running them inward.

Mine spin outward the hull turns better 447 L/R but try it and see what works better for you boat. some say spinning inward is less stressfull on your motors. makes sence since less "clean" water hit the props.

Ive got some cats that handle better with them spinning in and some, like the HPR, spin better out. All you can do is try.... my HOTR cat seemed to make no difference at all. Just keep track of whats doin what to keep your cables spinning the correct direction.
