    UL-1 props

    i want to try a 1640 prop but can't get it on step.how far up from stock strut setting should i go?

    That prop takes a long time to hook up on the UL-1.

        An M445 works very well in that boat.

          An X642 works well too. The "right" prop depends on what motor you are running. how many cells, what ESC and then "where" your hardware is adjusted. Oh yeah. And what speed you want!

          I'm running a Leopard 4074/2150 kv motor/T180 speedo/4500 lipos/neutral strut 1.0625 depth/642 prop. Speeds in mid 50's. Run times 4 min avg. Good all around setup.

            sorry i didn't tell you guys my set up. we have to run stock motor & ecu's. who makes the m445,& what mod's if any are ness. other than a B&S job?

              The M445 prop is from Octura - just B&S is all that is needed.

                UL-1 props

                what about a M645.i think i will need a 1.6 pitch prop to keep up this year. last year a 1.4 pitch would have worked,but this year the guys are stepping up.

                  Bill the 645 is fine however you may find you get a better result using an M445 and cupping it up. Also dont be afraid to take more of the tongue off
