Well just back from the pond. I tried the X450 and it worked ok but a little sluggish in the the turns. Probably a couple MPH faster in the straights over the X447 though. I thought I had a X450/3 in my box but it was a X452/3 so I didn't try it. It just seems like my Delta is a bit slugish, might be because all I really run is hydro's and they scream? I really had to get my trim tabs down some, i had them all the way up and the boat was way to wild in the turns...and even in the straights for that matter. When I move the tabs down so the boat is nice and stable it just seems slow to me. I will post some of the wild vid with the tabs up to high.
Mine is doing the same thing. I thought it was in my setup so I purchased the strut from speedmaster and replaced the stinger. I never did get her settled in with the stinger. Hopefully the strut will do the trick......to be continued.

I did some trim tab adjustment tonight and it calmed right down. I def don't think the Stinger is a problem. I have seen many mono's with stingers run great.
I may try running her on 4s2p for a while? I did try adjusting the trim tabs to no avail. I only have the innermost pair installed right now. Tonight I'll put on the outer set and give it a go.

If you are having a problem with the hull in the turns then the outer tabs def help. I adjusted mine a 1/4 turn at a time tonight until the boat ran where I wanted it. I wish my woman would have took the vid cam to show the difference.
I do get alot of chine in the straights and its just horrible in the turns. My DF29 has regular old Fullers mono hardware system. This 29" hull has seen a tad over 70 and is straight as a bullet when setup on 8s1p. When I poke along on 4s2p ( with a higher kv motor ) I am low 50's and don't even come off the throttle in the turns??? I will have to get my wife to shoot some HD video so I can post them and get some good feedback from you guys as to what may be going on.

Are your batteries inside or outside the rails ? Once I moved my motor to the back & placed the batts on the centerline, the wobble stopped.

My DF33 likes 3 blade props . It's running a Lep 4082-1600kv 180esc with 11 deg timing 6s2p lipo . For heats I use a 447/3 cut down to 445/3 Makes for a fairly fast and very happy boat in race water . It goes where you point it When I first put the cut down 447/3 It chine walked badly . I was advised when you cut down these props they will gain lift . I added a small amount of positive angle to the stinger and no more chine walk . I think they make very completive boats .
