Hi guys I'm building this boat its 17.9 in long, and welcome any suggestions for the drive to use, Steve has helped a lot, it's all balsa except a few choice parts are plywood

Just search for Mantis on the Aerofred plans sight, that's where I git it, has the build article also, I tried to upload it here but couldn't for some reason

To download from Aerofred, you have to register, but it's well worth it, a lot of boat plans. If someone could tell me how to post the plan and build article here, I would gladly do so ��

I don't know that particular boat, but I have build a number of cats around the same size at 450mm.

My go to power system for them is a 28x36mm motor of 3000Kv, 30-50A ESC, on 3s 1500-2200mAh, with a 1/8" flex shaft on a 4mm stub shaft (either threaded M4 or stepped down to 1/8" for dog drive), props in the 27-31mm range, 55mm rudder.
