drive line stuffing

found this little plastic piece hiding in my miscellaneous drawer ...put it on the mono stuffing tube on the inside after a run nothing bone dry like a desert....poked a small hole through to accept the wire and packed it with grease as well...IMG_1523[1].jpg

Yes that is a pretty common mod to stop water entering the hull, some use the method you have used. You can also use heat shrink tube or most use a piece of silicon water tube esp if its on a flex cable.

yes I agree I just didn't have the right size in my inventory of heat shrink...

I use automotive vacuum caps like that on stuffing tubes with wire drives.
