mini mono reverse...?

I just got a mini mono with the tactic ttx 300 radio.. it has three channel capability..is it possible to make this boat go in reverse.? and if so how in the heck do you do it. why would they include that radio with the three channel capability with that boat in the first place if it has no function..Thank You

The stock esc does not have reverse functionality. Other esc do if you really need it, you’ll just need to swap it out.

ahh I see so it's the ESC that makes it capable to have the reverse ...even though the radio is able to do it if you don't have the ESC with reverse your out of luck..Thank You

Most Mini Monos these days use wire drives, but if you have one with a flexshaft running it in reverse can unravel the flex, they can only take torque in one direction.
