    Hydro & Marine Micro Kat

I know others have covered this in the past... but, with the purchase of a 3d printer, i have now done a different spin on it... building a mini version of the old MRP outboard motor that came with their 20" + vacuum formed bud light tunnel hull...

i am currently in the final testing stages, with a 2200kv inrunner, and a 2s lipo.

video of its latest run with an x632 equivalent CNC machined metal prop... it cratered not long after i finished this quick video. I have a few kinks left to iron out, but when i get it working reliably, i will post the STL files for the outboard where people can download them for their own printing.

Very cool. This would work well on a small mono or cat as well.

ran it today... as the description on the video states, the current setup is a chinese 28mm outrunner running at 2200kv, on a 2s 1800mah 40c lipo, and a 30mm plastic prop.... and a 120amp HobbyKing aquastar ESC. it has reasonable speed, but not fantastic speed.

i plan on "upgrading" to a 2700kv 28mm outrunner before next weekend, and hopefully will have a video to post then. I am curious how many runs i will get in on this configuration before the flex-cable snaps. hopefully i have that problem figured out... will keep you informed.
