Make sure the drive shaft has a 2mm gap between the strut and drive dog as it may be binding when the wire drive winds up. Does the battery show it's full voltage when it's all charged up? You didn't mention if you are using 2s or 3s?

PM user sailr he is the owner of MiniCat Racing. He can help with the programming part. Still stumped what is your issue. What size prop are you running? Where do you have your battery located, maybe the balance is too much back and can't get on plane? It needs to be in the manual's recommended location or it may drag when running.

The stock prop is good. Check that the drive line is free and not binding. Be sure it's lubed also. Can't think what else maybe the issue outside maybe your radio throttle is not at 100 or 120%? I don't have the newer ESC and I don't use the one mine came with anyways as it was only a 30A and I replaced it with a 35A. Maybe some may help you with the programming. Do you have another ESC you can use/try as a test?

When I emailed with Jim about getting a program card for the new Tenshock 40A ESC, he said one was not available.

E flight batts aren't too great for boats, just fyi. They are mainly for planes and very low C rated usually.

                              Tenshock is considered good quality.

Funny Jim could not help but there is a program card. http://tenshock-motors.de/Tenshock-B...-401-Car-Motor
