Got a battery tray made from a sheet of balsa laminated with fiberglass, and mounted. Then mounted the RX/ESC.

I just have to install a water pickup and cooling jacket for the motor and do the plumbing.

Currently the electronics are a Traxxas Velineon 380 with VXL3M esc, an Axial servo for steering, and a Spektrum DX4C for controls.

The esc will get replaced with a water cooled marine esc in the future, the Proboat 40amp I ordered is a bit too big for this boat.

Keeping with a lot of the diy in this boat, I made my own water jacket for the motor, it's not the prettiest, but it cost me nothing more than time and materials I already had.

It's a section of pill bottle, fiberglassed for strength, nipples added, and then shimmed to the motor before rtv'ing one end, letting it cure, then removing the shims and rtv'ing the other.

Boat looks awesome! Did you get it on the water?

Curious, would you be willing to share the cad you used? Would like to build one like it but I laser cut all my parts.

Getting close to be ready for the water. Built up a hatch today. Not the prettiest, but my first time working with carbon fiber. Now ton finalize the electronic installation, add some foam to the hull for floatation, and put in the water cooling lines
