Hunting around for something to put a grin on my 80+ year old fathers face and spot an item on Amazon UK - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flying-Gadge...76J8BN8N4T1SY3
Beware ! Reading the product description there are separate references to Offshore Warrior, the word Brushless is used, but elsewhere in the article the reference is to Offshore Warrior Lite which is of course no such thing ......
Funnily enough there is no reference to Joysway......
Now either this is the cheapest brand new Offshore Warrior with brushless motor and if the photo is to believed Warrior 2 spec kit on the planet, or in fact the most expensive Warrior Lite on the planet, which would in no way be brushless..... Goods are represented as being shipped by Amazon but links on the page refer variously to Flying Gadgets, Infinity Gadgets, Infinity Gudgets (shome mishtake shurely) and infinitygadgets.com whos domain is registered to a residential address in South Gloucestershire.
If this ad is for real, then I'm a female, 25 year old nubile pole-dancer, although some may find my beard off putting.
On a more serious note....
Casting around other ads on Amazon for products from the same outfit turns up a Sea Rider amongst other things that can't decide whether it should be the brushless model, if the photo is to be believed or not.....
I hesitate to think what someone will think should they be as unwise as to part with 500+ UK Pounds for the petrol powered large scale Cat which also appears to supposedly feature a brushless motor and find the goods to be not as described...
In my opinion, if whomever is responsible for these ads is not incompetent then they are scamming or pretty close to it. In general, as always, if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is..... as my grandmother used to say.
I'd have thought Amazon would take more care, but I guess the whole thing is automated and they are ignorant to this guys game.....
