Dumas ski vee help

I have a Dumas ski vee that is a someday build I'm looking for advice on the motor esc and drive/rudder system all I know is I wNt brushless and because the boat is only 19" weight is a factor so should I be looking at motors in the 380 size

An inexpensive solution is to go with a 2S setup with a 4500 Kv motor. With an x435 prop speeds could be in the high 30s, plenty for this hull.

hey just wondering how this project has turned out. I have one that was built years ago with 1/64 thin ply and i'm just starting to put a combination together. I'm looking to run brushless 2200kv 50 amp speed control on 11.1 3s. hoping to have it up and going mid to late summer

Been real busy with work haven't touched any of my RC toys in months 😥

so I've had mine up and going all summer and got 30mph out of it and with trim tabs its running flat except when I get in someones wake and it get speed wobbles lol
