    Tunnel Hull Recommendations

    Hi Gang,
I recently purchased one of the ose mini outboard motors and was looking for a decent tunnel hull kit (glass) that will work well with it stock. I am a newbie here so any help will be great! In advance, Thanks gang!

    HI,
It is an interesting Outboard, I see that it is out of stock from time to time so I am sure this unit is being bought. Not much have been reported back here at the Forum, I remember only one guy bought the RTR from HobbyKing. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...or_630mm_.html
But I don't think you can buy this as a bare hull. Since I have not seen this unit in person, I can't give you first hand advice, I am more familiar with the O.S. OutBoard unit and I did a full conversion of the Aqua Craft Top Speed 3, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXZJC0&P=SM. This hull ( Top Speed3) is longer than the HobbyKing Tunnel. I think the OSE unit would work better on a smaller hull.

This is what typically a Nitro-to-Electric conversion involves: my build thread: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...nversion-Build

I have drooled over this for a long time, just wasn't sure the openning on the deck is large enough for a 5000mah 4s battery. Never got around to actually get one. I will tag along your build thread if you get one.
