Oh, I might know where a slippery set of sponsons could be acquired.

Wilmer knows we're not picking on him, it's just a fun challenge. MPH/Volt Bill and Darin are about the fastest there are.

BTW. Joe, Sorry to hijack the thread.

If you might know where a person could come by another pair of those Teflon spoons, I may be able to inspire myownself to build one. Got a 1920 3 turn Hi-Amp that I ordered when I was lobbying Newland to create the M2 Lipo class and I'm interested in seeing how a non-sensored setup will compare.

Again here... sorry Joe!. Any possibility of talking you into making some streamwise aero rudder brackets and struts for these things? Always liked your hardware.

I have this Holc Aycula hull I have been sitting on that is 15 inches. Diegoboy sold it to Hazegry who in turn sold it to me.

Neat question, Makes ya think. about the smallest I have made is a 19 inch that went 82MPH

We should have a contest for the fun of it, the only requirement it that it is able to plane. I could build a 6 inch boat but it I do not think it would plane, it would plow the water thought. One of the guys in my old club built a tug boat with a servo motor as power that was 5 inches.

Dang!... Wilmer might think that everyone is ganging up on him again!....[/QUOTE]

Those days are over. Anyone wanting to exceed my score is simply advancing themself, and fast electrics in general.
If a few extremely brilliant guys put their minds and equipment together to go faster than me its nothing less than a compliment.

A testimony to just how incredible it was for me to go that fast in the first place : )
THEN AGAIN, I picked up a little from each of you guys (including a few more) to get there.
Yes, I came up with 99pct of the design, but other fast racers are an inspiration..

If any of you guys had seen Wilmer in the early days You would know why he says this. "A testimony to just how incredible it was for me to go that fast in the first place" He would come running down to my races with two left feet. Just having fun with you Will. He is a good buddy.

Glad to hear that you've mastered your paranoia's Wilmer!

I'd like to share a bit of wisdom that was passed on to me by an old R/C dragracer when I was thrilled after setting my first R/C record 25 or more years back. He said that when things are put in perspective, there are probably only about three people in the entire world that really give a s*** about your accomplishment.... you... the person you took the record from... and the person who is going to take the record from you!

Keep up the good work, buddy!
