      Yep, put a little silicon on the brackets before you screw in. Wipe away excess after screwed in. I think it actually says in the instructions that a little bit of water will get in. It's pretty inevitable....

        Yeah silicone worked great or if ya don't want no mess a little plumbers Teflon tape can do the job also. Help to keep the screws from backing back out due to vibration. Also, are you still running the stock esc?

          Water can't get in thru the stuffing tube, the tight tolerance of the bearings will prevent that. For all bearing set ups, I use Grim Racer grease with heavy gear oil found at auto parts store. You need liquid oil to lube the bearings, this high quality gear oil will last through your run under water. I use Sta-Lube Heavy Duty-Hypoid SAE 85W140 Limited-Slip
          bracka69 is right, check your antenna mount and all the hardware mounting point. If you don't plan to repaint, you can use silicone sealent, but be warned that this stuff is hard to get off and impairs painting and gluing. People use plumber's putty with good results.

              plumbers putty sound like great idea :) thanx i will be doing all my after run stuff so i will do little screw removal and get all sealed thanx ALL again great help
