    New mini from aquacraft

It's either new or I have never seen it. Pretty cool looking. Doesn't fit a race class so it would just be a sport boat but looks like it could be good fun for those with smaller ponds or budgets. Takes the same battery as a lot of foam planes so could be a good convert boat.

Tower has the rxr version listed at 140 and a rtr version. At 180. Due to release at the end of the month, wait isn't that now? Should be any day now I would think. http://towerhobbies.com/products/aqu.../aqub1821.html

kidding lol just figured I would put out a new micro/small performance boat. That little hydro you posted looks awesome it would be nice to pick up one, a good break from running my boats worth more than my car lol

If this were a small size competition then yes you win lol. However, it isn't. Just informing people of a new boat I saw coming out.

I like the fact that they installed an inrunner motor with a real water jacket on it instead of an outrunner with those mickey mouse motor mount coolers found in the MiniRio, MiniMono, etc.

Wish the driver had more detail though. If PB can do it for $79.99... http://www.proboatmodels.com/Product...ProdID=PRB3000 - than why can't AQ do it for $179.99 ??

Same reason you can't buy a new Corvette for the price of a camaro. The PB you linked to comes with a 7.2 v nihm pack and a 380 size brushed motor. The AQ boat is brushless and 3s lipo ready.

I can't wait to see what the shaft size does the motor have.

nvm its a 3mm shaft and the motor is only rated up to 14v so no 4s grr.

Yeah, but it's still got a puny (aka pukey) piano wire drive setup... http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/boats...-features.html - not many liked it in the MiniMono, don't think many will like it with this boat either. - JMO

I don't think it will take too long before some talented member(s) or Steveo come up with some type of flexcable conversion.
